P.I.Tchaikovsky (1840-1893) was a composer and a musical dramatist, who showed the inward man in music, created the marvellous operas, ballets and symphonic chamber music. The stamps feature the scenes from the ballet "The Nutcracker" and also Russian and German dolls-nutcrackers, which belong to the National art museum in Moscow.
