"St Eustache" battleship, built in 1762. In 1769 a Russian squadron lead by "St Eustache" departed from Kronstadt to the Mediterranean Sea, and on 24 June 1770 it met the Turkish navy in the Aegean Sea. During the battle the Turkish flagship was set on fire, and "St Eustache" caught the fire as well. Both ships exploded. The Turkish fleet withdrew from the battle and took refuge in the Chesmen Bay where it was destroyed by the Russian Squadron on 26 June 1770.

A squadron battleship "Petropavlovsk". Build in 1894. From April 1900 - a flagship of the Pacific Squadron. During the Russian-Japanese was of 1904-1905 "Petropavlovsk" was blown up by Japanese mines and sank near Port Arthur on 31 March 1904. It took the lives of Vice-Admiral S.O.Makarov and V.V.Vereshagin, a painter of battle pieces.

"Novik", a squadron torpedo-boat. Built in 1913. The first of a series of torpedo-boats (of more than 50 ships). "Novik" took part in World War I as part of the Baltic Fleet, and won some victories. It was blown up on a mine and sank in August 1941, when a group of the Baltic Fleet ships were making a breakthrough from Tallinn to Kronstadt.

"Tashkent", a leader of a torpedo-boat squadron. Build in 1937. Took part in defence of Odessa and Sevastopol in 1941-1942. It was used for army transportation. During its last sail from the sieged Sevastopol it took on board 2,500 wounded and 85 pieces of "Siege of Sevastopol in 1854-1855", a panoramic painting by F.A.Rubo. It survived 85 attacks by the nazi aircraft, was damaged, but made its way to the destination. On 2 July 1942 "Tashkent" was destroyed in the Novorossiisk Bay during nazi bombing.

The Red-Flag "S-13" submarine. Built in 1939. During the WWII S-13 made 4 battle voyages and destroyed 6 enemy ships. It became particularly famous during the third voyage, when it destroyed 2 transport ships of the enemy of the total 40,000 tons displacement. The submarine was under command of captain A.I.Marinesko. Marinesko set the record among the submarine captains by the total number of destroyed infantry and the tons displacement. S-13 was awarded the Red Flag Order.

"Principium" galley, built in 1696 in Voronezh after a Dutch blueprint, became the first galley of the Sea Caravan, which later became the Azov Fleet; heavy nuclear submarine, built in 1981, is the biggest submarine ever made; "Azov" battleship, built in 1826, was the first Russian ship to be awarded the Flag of St.George and a banner for the heroism of its crew; heavy avia carrier "Admiral Kuznetsov", built in 1985, is essencially new ship for the Russian as well as the worlds shipbuilding. It carries up to 50 aircraft and helicopters. Unlike foreign avia carriers, it also carries antiship missiles. In the centre of the block there is a cartouch framed by laurel branches on the background of St.Andrew's Flag. The stripes of the flag partially overlap the upper corners of the stamps. In the lower part of the composition there is an ornament of the guard glory band and anchors. The text reads: "The 300th Anniversary of the Russian Navy".
