Northern fleet is the operatively-strategic formation of Navy of Russia. The beginning conducts from Northern military flotilla formed in June, 1933 for defense of the Soviet Polar region. Stamp of the souvenir sheet shows the Naval (Andreevsky) flag, a flag of the Navy of the USSR and a heavy aviabearing cruiser «the Admiral of fleet of the Soviet Union Kuznetsov». There are stamp emblem of Navy, an award of the Red Banner, and also a heavy nuclear submarine with ballistic missiles and the small rocket ship on the brims.
