The Memorial estate "Kizhi" settles down on the island of the same name of Onega Lake. Whole island is an open-air museum of wooden architecture which includes monuments of the Kizhsky Country churchyard : Preobrazheniya Gospodnya Church - 1714, Church of the Pokrova Presvjatoy Bogoroditsi - 1764, the Belltower of the Kizhsky country churchyard - 1874 - entered in the list of the World cultural heritage of UNESCO. Many-domed temples of country churchyard Kizhi in which severe power of minced walls is combined with refinement of a silhouette are skillfully entered in surrounding nature and make harmonious, unique ensemble on beauty. Except the beauty they are interesting also that it is made without a uniform nail and a screw.
