The Republic of Tyva (Tuva) is the republic of the Russian Federation, the subject of the Russian Federation, part of the Siberian Federal District. It was formed on October 11, 1944; administrative center is the city of Kyzyl. The traditional culture of Tuva is the culture of nomads. Tuvan throat singing is famous all over the world; it has already become the unofficial symbol of the republic.
