Kursk Region was formed on June 13, 1934, it is a part of the Central Federal District. In 2009, the region celebrated its 75th anniversary. The stamp depicts: Streletskaya steppe which is a part of Tsentralno Chernozemny Zapovednik (Nature Reserve); Mikhailovsky GOK, which produces about 20% of domestic iron ore raw materials as well as the Triumphal arch - an element of the memorial complex dedicated to the Battle of Kursk. The arch is topped by the equestrian figure of St. George the Trophy-bearer; the monument to commander Georgy Zhukov is located behind it.

The Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area was formed on December 10, 1930. The stamp depicts: sculpture “Golden tambourine” in the town of Khanty-Mansiysk, which was named in honor of the annual city cinema and television festival and became an original symbol of the Ugra Television; oil derricks, as well as the representative of the indigenous population of KhMAD - Ugra driving a team of reindeer.
