№ 1610. Games of the XXX Olympiad in London.

In 2012, London was honored to host the Olympic Games for the third time. The Games of the XXX Olympiad took place in the United Kingdom capital from July 27 to August 12. Approximately 10,5 thousand athletes from 204  National Olympic Committees participated  in the competitions. Medals in 302 competition events in 26 sports were awarded there. At the Games athletes representing the Russian Federation won a total of 24 gold, 26 silver and 32 bronze medals.
