May 8, a cancellation ceremony of a souvenir sheet "The 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945” was held in Mozhaisk

May 8, celebrations dedicated to the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945: a ceremony of wreath-laying at the monument to soldiers-signalmen and a cancellation ceremony of a souvenir sheet were held in Mozhaisk.







The participants of the ceremony were Igor Shegolev, the assistant to the President; Oleg Dukhovnitskiy, Head of the Federal Communications Agency and Akim Aseev, the Chairman of the Joint Council of Veterans of the Army Signal Corps of the Russian Federation.

Igor O. Shegolev emphasized that the signalers not only paved links, but also uphold the spirit of the army, bringing letters from home to the soldiers. This monument is a tribute and immense respect for soldiers-signalmen.



Oleg Dukhovnitskiy congratulated and thanked veterans of the Great Patriotic War on behalf of the Federal Communications Agency.

A souvenir sheet with one stamp was released into circulation on May 5.
