On September 18, a regular meeting of the Commission of the Federal Communications Agency for state valuable postal matter was held

The meeting chaired by Oleg Dukhovnitsky, the Head of the Federal Communications Agency, was held in a remote format.

In the course of the meeting, approval was given to amendments and additions to Editorial Calendars of issuance of postage stamps and postcards with commemorative stamps for the years of 2020 and 2021; besides, consideration was given to applications for the issuance of state valuable postal matter received from state and public organizations and institutions, as well as from individuals.

The 2020 Editorial Calendar of issuance of state valuable postal matter is supplemented by the issuance of postage stamps dedicate to jubilees of the Yeni-Kale and Meganom lighthouses, the 100th Anniversary of the Udmurt Republic; a joint issuance of postal matter of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea is planned, etc.

In 2021, the plan of postal matter issuance envisages release of stamps dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of Russia’s accession to the Council of Europe, the 125th Birth Anniversary of Nikolai Semyonov, scientist, the founder of chemical physics, the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, the 100th Anniversary of the Sedov barque and other memorable dates.

The updated Editorial Calendars of issuance of stamped postal matter will be available on the websites of the Federal Communications Agency and JSC Marka.
