The event was attended by Olga Liodt, a Deputy Chairman of the City Assembly of Sochi of the Krasnodar Territory; Svetlana Ermilova, the Director General of the Zhemchuzhina Hotel Complex, a deputy and the Chairman of the Committee on the Health Resort Complex and Tourism of the City Assembly of Sochi of the Krasnodar Territory; and Alexei Mashin, the Head of the Sochi Post Office, a branch of JSC Russian Post.
The history of the Zhemchuzhina Hotel Complex dates back to May 18, 1973. The hotel project was entrusted to architect Anatoly Polyansky. Today, Zhemchuzhina is a genuine pearl of the coast of the Sochi resort city. It is a modern 4-star Grand Hotel. The room stock includes more than 800 various rooms; the hotel is surrounded by a unique park zone with tropical plants, with a neighbored Winter Theatre, a circus, the Festival Concert Hall, the Sochi’s Arboretum, museums and theatres. Annually, the Hotel hosts all kinds of events and festivals.
The illustrated stamped envelope features the building of the Zhemchuzhina Hotel Complex. The Print Run is 250 thousand envelopes. On August 23, 2023, the illustrated stamped envelope went on sale in post offices and the Collectioner show room chain.
