On February 14, a ceremony took place of special cancellation of postage stamps dedicated to buildings of diplomatic missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation

The event was attended by Sergey Ryabkov, a Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and Alan Kozonov, a Deputy Director General of JSC Russian Post.

The postage stamps feature the House of Receptions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Residence of the Russian Ambassador to France, the Russian Embassy in Austria and the Russian Embassy in China. The face value is 75 rubles, the Print Run is 77 thousand each stamp. The design is by Artist Nadezhda Karpova.

The postage stamp dedicated to the House of Receptions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russia has been produced using the augmented reality technology. The mARka mobile application offers the viewer a possibility to see the interior of the mansion and get informed of its history.

Traditionally, issues of the state valuable postal matter are timed to landmark historical and cultural events, or are dedicated to celebrated personalities, major backbone enterprises of the Russian economy, state-run and public organizations.

JSC Marka has close and meaningful co-operation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in issuing postage stamps, envelopes and postcards. With the agreement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, postage stamps are annually issued with other countries within the frames of joint issues, and since 2020, a separate series of postage stamps The History of Russian Diplomacy has been out.
