On April 4, a ceremony took place of special cancellation of postage stamps dedicated to professions of the Federal Service of National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation

The event took place in the Central Museum of National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation. The ceremony was attended by Colonel General Oleg Plokhoi, the state secretary– deputy director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation – the Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation; Alexander Khinstein, the Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications, a coordinator of the Historical Memory Party federal project; and Mikhail Volkov, the Director General of JCS Russian Post.

The Federal Service of National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation (Rosguard) was established on April 5 of 2016 under the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation "with the aim of maintaining state and public security as well as ensuring human and civil rights and freedoms".

The postage stamps present military units of the Federal Service of National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation: aviation and artillery units; extra-departmental security service; military units for the protection of critical state facilities and special cargoes; an engineer service; a canine service; naval military units and subdivisions; licensing service units; riot police forces; special operations forces; and special motorized military units.

The face value of the postage stamps is 67 rubles; the Print Run is 20 thousand each stamp. The design is by Artists Maxim Podobed, Sergey Ulyanovsky and Sergey Kapranov. In addition to the issue of the postage stamps, JSC Marka will produce First Day Covers and special cancels for Moscow and Kaliningrad.

On March 27, 2023, the postage stamps were put into postal circulation and went on sale in post offices throughout the country and the Collectioner show room chain.
