On April 26, a postage stamp dedicated to the International historical and educational campaign Victory Dictation was put into postal circulation

All-Russian historical campaign Victory Dictation is an educational event aimed not only at testing the level of knowledge of the military history of our country, but also at uniting all citizens of Russia.

The Victory Dictation was undertaken for the first time on May 7 of 2019 within the framework of the celebration of the 74th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The dictation was held in 24 countries, including Russia. More than 150 thousand people aged 9 to 90 took part in the event. After that, it was decided to hold the Victory Dictation annually.

The Victory Dictation is conducted both offline and online. To participate remotely, it is necessary to sign up on the official website of the campaign. The Victory Dictation comprises two variants of 25 questions each. The answer time is 45 minutes. The questions are of various character: one should insert missing words in the text, name the author of a poem dedicated to the war on the basis of a given passage, name a city, event or participant in the war. Some questions are related to feature films and monuments dedicated to the Great Patriotic War.

The postage stamp provides an image of an emblem of the International historical and educational campaign Victory Dictation.

In addition to the issue of the postage stamp, JSC Marka produced First Day Covers and special cancels for Moscow, Volgograd, Murmansk, Penza, Ryazan, Tver, Yakutsk and Yaroslavl.
