On March 30, an envelope with a commemorative stamp dedicated to the Immortal Regiment march will go into postal circulation in the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 series


The Immortal Regiment is an international social civic-and-patriotic movement to commemorate the Great Patriotic War generation.

The Immortal Regiment history started in 2007 in Tyumen. The event was named Parade of Winners. Two years later such parades were held in more than 20 regions. The movement in its current form was initiated and received the name of Immortal Regiment in Tomsk in 2012.

In 2013, the Immortal Regiment march was for the first time carried out in Moscow on the Poklonnaya Gora and in 2015, it was held on the Red Square.

The envelope with a commemorative stamp provides an image of the symbol of celebration of the 75 anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945; the central image is a logo of patriotic organization Immortal Regiment — Moscow, a St.George's Ribbon and a festive march of the movement.

In addition to the issue of the envelope with a commemorative stamp, JSC Marka will produce special cancels for Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tomsk and Tyumen.
